2026-2027 Budget & Board Election Information

The 2026-2027 Annual School District Budget Vote and Board Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, between the hours of 12:00 - 8:00 pm in the north gym lobby.

Public Budget Hearing:

Join us for a public hearing on the proporsed 2026-2027 budget on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 5:30 pm in the auditorium.  The school newsletter will be arriving in mailboxes and on our website in early May.

Board Member Election:

Voters will elect one Board of Education member to fill the at-large seat left vacant by the expiration of the term for Steven Morgan.  The candidate with the most votes will serve a five-year term  beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2031. 

Candidates are nominated by petition.  A petition can be requested from the District Clerk in the Business Office during the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday or at districtclerk@pancent.org. Completed petitions must be filed with the District Clerk by 5:00 pm on April 20, 2026.

Statement of Expenditures

In compliance with Sections §1608 and §1716 of the Education Law which states that the Statement of Expenditures must be completed at least 14 days prior to the Annual Meeting, Budget Vote and Election (May 19, 2026), you are hereby notified that said Statement of Expenditures will be available for review in the 

Military Ballots:

  • Are available to those qualified voters in actual military service, or
  • Will be absent from the district on the day of the election by reason of such service, or
  • A spouse, parent, child, or dependent of a service member accompanying the service member, and they are qualified voters of the same district as the service member.
  • Requests for a military ballot application must be made to the District Clerk at 716-782-4445 or districtclerk@pancent.org
  • Completed applications for military ballots must be received by the district clerk by April 24, 2026.  Ballots will be mailed April 25, 2026, to residents who returned completed applications.

Early Mail and Absentee Ballots:

  • Military ballot applications must be received by April 23rd.
  • Absentee ballots will be automatically mailed to permanently disabled residents on the Board of Elections’ list the week of April 20th.
  • Applications for absentee and early mail ballots may be obtained from the District Clerk in the Business Office during the hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
  • Completed applications must be received at least (7) days before the District Vote if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter (May 12, 2026), or the day before the District Vote, if the ballot is to be delivered to the voter in person (May 18, 2026).
  • Absentee and early mail ballots must be received at the office of the District Clerk by 5:00 pm on the day of the election.

Who Can Vote?

To vote in this election you must:

  1. Be a citizen of the United States;
  2. Be 18 years of age or older;
  3. Have lived in the district for at least 30 days before the election;
  4. Not be otherwise disqualified from voting in school district elections.

  • Driver's License
  • Non-driver Identification card
  • Utility bill
  • Voter registration card
  • Auto registration
